Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. FinderrLink also uses a small number of similar technologies like the session tokens described below, that work the same way but aren't always visible as a traditional "cookie" in your browser settings.

We keep this list short on purpose. If a cookie isn't doing one of the jobs below, we don't set it.

Strictly necessary (always active)

Required for FinderrLink to work at all, staying logged in, keeping your account secure, and remembering your role (Freelancer, Agency, or Enterprise) as you move through the platform. Without these, core features like applying to missions or messaging simply won't function. This category can't be turned off, because doing so would break the product, not just personalize it less.

Functional (optional)

Remember small preferences — your language (EN/FR/NL), dismissed notifications, or your last-used search filters — so FinderrLink feels consistent between visits instead of resetting every time.

Analytics (optional)

Help us understand, in aggregate, how people use FinderrLink — which pages get visited, where people drop off — so we can fix what's confusing and improve what's working. We don't use analytics to build advertising profiles.

Marketing (optional)

Used only where enabled, to measure whether our own outreach (like email campaigns) is reaching the right people. We do not sell cookie data to third parties.

Two of our strictly-necessary cookies are worth explaining in plain language, since they're doing the heavy lifting behind every logged-in action on FinderrLink:

JWT (session token) — Confirms who you are on every request after you log in, so you're not asked to re-enter your password on every page.

Without it, FinderrLink couldn't tell your account apart from anyone else's — every action would require logging in again.

CSRF token — Verifies that an action, like submitting an application or updating your profile, actually came from you, in your browser, not from a malicious script on another site.

It's a security safeguard, not a tracking tool. It protects your account, it doesn't watch your behavior.

In short: the JWT proves who you are; the CSRF token proves the request is genuinely yours. Neither is used for advertising, and neither can be disabled without also disabling the ability to log in securely — so they're excluded from the cookie preference toggles below.

Some cookies on FinderrLink are set by services we rely on for hosting, analytics, or authentication (for example, "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple" sign-in). These providers set their own cookies under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review separately — we don't control how they handle that data once it leaves FinderrLink.

You can adjust optional cookie categories at any time. Strictly necessary cookies — including the session and security tokens above — stay on, since turning them off would sign you out and block core account actions.

We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes, and we'll flag material changes more visibly if they affect how your data is handled.
